An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing transaction advisory team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering tax advice on a wide range of corporate and investor-led transactions, working closely with senior stakeholders and clients on complex domestic and cross-border projects.

Client Details

Our client is a leading professional services organisation with a highly respected transaction tax practice. The team advises a broad range of investors and businesses on complex transactions, helping clients identify risk, unlock value and navigate tax considerations throughout the deal lifecycle.

Working across both UK and international markets, the team supports private equity investors, institutional funds, listed businesses and mid-market organisations on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and strategic growth initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high-profile transactions while working alongside experienced deal professionals in a collaborative environment.

Description

  • Provide tax advisory support across acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and refinancing projects.
  • Manage transaction due diligence and structuring workstreams.
  • Analyse tax risks and opportunities, presenting clear commercial recommendations to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support business development activity, including proposals and presentations.
  • Review technical tax advice covering a range of UK and international matters.
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues within the team.
  • Keep up to date with tax legislation and market developments relevant to transaction activity.

Profile

  • CTA, ACA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong UK corporate tax knowledge.
  • Previous experience within transaction tax, deals advisory or a related tax advisory environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines effectively.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
