About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

About the Deal Desk Team

The Deal Desk team is a critical component of the Finance function, acting as a strategic partner to the global Sales organization. We are responsible for partnering with sales to structure, negotiate, and close complex deals. We ensure that deals meet the requirements of "good business" while also keeping our customers' best interest in mind. We are committed to building a data-centric and AI-augmented Deal Desk that leverages predictive analytics and automated workflows to optimize pricing in real-time and automate routine approvals, allowing for deeper strategic focus.

Role Summary

As a Deal Desk Manager, you will be the architect of our AI-driven deal desk, transitioning our sales process from manual workflows to an intelligent, automated engine that spans from initial scoping to final execution. By leveraging agentic workflows and automated data layers, the focus shifts to high-judgment architecture for non-standard enterprise deals. The objective is to serve as a high-influence "Sales Co-pilot," using AI-driven insights to maximize deal velocity and Long-Term Value (LTV) while relentlessly reducing friction through iterative process automation.

What you’ll do

  • Orchestrate Strategic Deal Architecture: Lead the structuring and execution of non-standard, high-value enterprise deals, providing high-judgment guidance that balances competitive differentiation with long-term business health.
  • Sales Co-pilot & Strategic Influence: Serve as a strategic partner to Sales leadership, utilizing AI-driven data to maximize deal velocity, improve LTV, and ensure discovery reflects true customer needs. Perform analysis on pricing and deal terms, leveraging AI insights to recommend "next best action" for deal structuring and margin optimization.
  • Curate and Tune AI Agents: Manage the enterprise deal approval ecosystem by tuning automated agents and models to ensure compliance and accuracy at scale.
  • Drive Process Iteration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Product) to build, streamline, and automate deal desk processes, architecting autonomous approval workflows and focusing on reducing field friction through relentless automation.
  • Champion AI & Automation Integration: Champion the integration of LLMs and generative AI tools to automate deal desk workflows, significantly reducing deal cycle times. Identify bottlenecks and implement AI-powered productivity solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
