Deal Execution – Buy & Build
Location: London | 4 days per week
Day Rate: Up to £750 | Outside IR35
RB2909
We are working with a highly acquisitive, PE-backed buy-and-build business with a significant pipeline of transactions. With deal activity continuing to accelerate, they are looking for an experienced Deal Execution professional to provide additional execution capacity.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is used to operating in a high-volume M&A environment and can take transactions through the execution process at pace.
The Role
Working closely with the senior leadership team, investors and external advisers, you will support the execution of multiple transactions simultaneously.
Your focus will be firmly on getting deals executed rather than originating opportunities. You will help drive transactions from initial agreement through diligence, documentation and completion, keeping multiple workstreams moving and ensuring issues are identified and resolved quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
