The Opportunity

A leading specialist bank is seeking an experienced Deal Manager to join its Corporate Lending Operations team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in documentation review, deal execution, and LoanIQ system management, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The team acts as the primary internal contact for lending operations, ensuring transactions are managed efficiently with a focus on risk mitigation, data quality, and client service. This is a chance to work in a flat-structured, entrepreneurial culture that values internal mobility, innovation, and a "can-do" attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Execution

  • Book new deals (bilateral, agency, and syndicated participations) and facilities in the lending source system, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Manage deal amendments, restructures, and security builds in the system.
  • Govern initial pay-away conditions and track all subsequent conditions, including credit-defined sell-downs.
  • Reconcile derivatives bookings against loan profiles to ensure hedge effectiveness.
  • Collate and retain transaction documentation (e.g., Withholding Tax forms like W8/W9).
  • Complete and handover transaction notes to the servicing team within SLA.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
