Introduction

Andesite Partners has been exclusively appointed by a leading and highly established US private equity and growth equity platform to hire an Origination Associate into its European investment team. The firm has a long-standing track record investing across technology and technology-enabled businesses and is now looking to add a dedicated origination professional focused on identifying and developing new investment opportunities across Europe.

The Role

This is a highly sourcing-led position, focused on proprietary deal generation rather than pure transaction execution.

The successful candidate will:

  • Map attractive technology sectors and subsectors across Europe
  • Identify high-quality companies that fit the firm’s investment strategy
  • Build relationships directly with founders, CEOs, and management teams
  • Develop proprietary opportunities ahead of formal sale processes
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective investments
  • Conduct initial commercial and financial assessment of opportunities
  • Present relevant companies and investment themes to the wider investment team
  • Work closely with senior investors as opportunities develop

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
