Dealer Training Specialist - Scotland

Superb remuneration and benefits package
£52000 Salary plus Bonus

Pybus Recruitment is currently seeking a Dealer Training Specialist on behalf of a growing automotive organisation. This field-based role is crucial in supporting and enhancing sales performance across a nationwide dealer network.

You will play a key role in ensuring dealership sales teams are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver outstanding customer experiences, maintain high customer satisfaction scores, and achieve performance objectives.

Working closely with the Retailer Training Manager and Regional Sales Managers, you will deliver engaging training programmes and identify evolving development needs across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of a comprehensive new starter training programme and conduct on-site induction training for both existing and newly appointed dealerships.
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual classroom training as part of the sales accreditation pathway.
  • Provide engaging and informative training during new product launch events.
  • Support the creation of effective and engaging training content in collaboration with the Retailer Training Manager, including e-learning modules and classroom-based materials.
  • Deliver intensive on-site coaching and training focused on sales processes, customer experience, and mystery shop performance at targeted retailer locations across the UK.
  • Provide bespoke, ad hoc training sessions, both in person and online, to support evolving business requirements and operational initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Retailer Training Manager and Regional Sales Managers to identify underperforming or newly appointed retailers and develop tailored training interventions.
  • Participate in special projects and training initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales training within the automotive industry, either at manufacturer or retailer level.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, including sales processes and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners of varying experience levels and learning styles.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK (approximately 3–4 days per week).
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a wider training and field support team.
  • Proficient in the use of digital learning platforms and content creation tools, including LMS platforms, Articulate, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
