Dealership Service Advisor, Swindon

Reactive Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the largest dealership groups across the South of the UK. Due to continued success, their prestigious Swindon site require a number of experienced Service Advisors.

Service Advisor Package

  • Excellent starting salary £30,000 per annum
  • Up to £10,000 per annum bonus paid on top of the basic salary based on additional products/services upsold and customer service scores
  • Working from their prestigious Swindon site - with flexible working hours – to be discussed at interview on a case by case basis
  • Rewarding loyalty with up to 33 days holiday per annum

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting Customers: You'll be the friendly face that helps customers with their service and repair needs, ensuring everything is handled professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinating Repairs: Work closely with our workshop team to ensure vehicles move smoothly through the repair process
  • Providing Clear Solutions: If there are any faults or repairs needed, you'll explain them to customers in a way that's easy to understand and offer clear, practical solutions
  • Staying Organised: Keep the customer database updated and always ready for action
  • Managing the Details: Keep on top of computer-based jobs, purchasing, and invoicing while protecting the interests of both our customers and the company
  • Keeping Records Spotless: Accurately maintain customer and vehicle details, including service histories
  • Upselling with Care: Use your knowledge of our aftersales products and services to recommend the right options to our customers when appropriate

Experience Required

  • A very high level/standard of customer service gained in a face to face and/phone based situations
  • Clear communication skills essential when dealing with customers – sometimes dissatisfied
  • Great multi-tasker along with strong attention to detail
  • Good standard of administration
  • Confident in the ability to recommend (up-sell) additional products & services that match customers needs (great bonus paid)
  • A motor background is advantageous but not essential
