Driven Dealmaker Wanted

Atom is looking for a driven dealmaker to join their growing team. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor to Atom’s enterprise clients and financial sponsors, supporting them in scouting and sourcing the best technology assets that fit their needs.

You will be responsible for understanding a client's innovation goals and demonstrating how Atom can streamline their R&D and growth pipeline and give them a competitive edge in their industry. You will support them by presenting the best asset opportunities in patented technologies, high value teams, data sets and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage with key decision-makers across target industries. These include Heads of R&D, Corporate Development, Intellectual Property and Innovation.
  • Conduct consultative sales meetings, showcasing the value of Atom and selling Atom’s services, not their software.
  • Manage the full client cycle from initial outreach and needs analysis to relationship development, deal negotiation, deal management and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted consultant for their technology scouting and innovation needs. Bring the latest in deal flow that they would not be able to find.
  • Provide actionable market feedback to Atom's product and engineering teams to help maintain a competitive edge.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Qualifications

This role suits a commercially sharp, intellectually curious operator who is as comfortable in a boardroom as they are unpicking a complex technology story. You'll thrive here if you enjoy consultative selling, owning your deal flow end-to-end, and want a genuine stake in the outcome. You need to be a hustler, as deals only get done if you make them happen. You need to be able to gain the clients trust, and keep it for the long term.
