Job Description & Summary

About the role

Join PwC's Restructuring Tax team, advising on complex refinancings, debt restructurings, insolvencies and high-profile transactions for multinational businesses, lenders and private equity investors. You'll manage key client relationships, lead transactions from start to finish and act as the main point of contact for clients, lawyers and other advisers.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of Deals activity, including restructuring, M&A, real estate, infrastructure and private equity transactions. You'll work in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, often collaborating with international teams across PwC's global network.

Alongside delivering technical tax advice, you'll support and develop junior team members, contribute to business development and help grow existing client relationships. The team offers a supportive, collaborative culture with excellent opportunities to build specialist expertise, gain significant client exposure and work on some of the most challenging and interesting transactions in the market.

What your days will look like

  • Advising clients, lenders and investors on complex restructurings, refinancings, insolvencies and debt reorganisations across a variety of sectors.
  • Leading transactions from start to finish, coordinating with clients, legal advisers, lenders, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders.
  • Analysing commercial and tax implications of restructuring options to help clients achieve the best possible outcome for their business.
  • Working alongside Deals, M&A, Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure teams on high-profile transactions and strategic projects.
  • Building strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and identifying opportunities to support clients with future challenges and growth plans.
  • Coaching junior team members, reviewing their work and contributing to the development and long-term success of the Restructuring Tax team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
