Dean will enable bringing in industry experts in formulating various policies and practices for the school. The Dean has to provide leadership in the growth and development of the newly established school, bringing in the experiences and practices from similar leading schools within the country and internationally. Among other things, he is expected to:
- Lead the development, design courses, and curricula pertaining to Health Sciences.
- Introduce new specializations as per best practices and latest technologies used in the industry.
- Guide and be instrumental in developing the requisite infrastructure for the school.
- Procure and promote resources for academic delivery of the School.
- Provide the leadership in establishing a research facility and promoting research in the school.
- Encourage and establish industry collaborations, to give hands-on training to the students.

Eligibility:
The Dean will be as per guidelines and conditionality prescribed by UGC. The person should have:

- Good academic grounding in any areas of Health Sciences, preferably with a PG degree and specialization (with/without Ph.D).
- Experience of at least 15 years, which includes 3 years in a leadership position in any recognized and leading Health Science/Institute research.
- Specialization in areas like Clinical, Public Health, Nutrition, Dietetics, Therapy, and rehabilitation, Immunology, etc. will be preferred.
- Provided leadership/mentorship in research activity in any relevant areas of Health Sciences.
- Demonstrable abilities of research collaboration.
