Role Description
This full-time remote Debt Advisor role involves supporting individuals who are seeking guidance with managing debts and exploring suitable solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting detailed assessments of leads which are dialled from our purpose-built platform. This is a telemarketing campaign and will include KPIs based on call time. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following compliance procedures, and collaborating with internal teams to improve service quality and lead conversion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a remote setting while meeting performance and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of personal finance, debt solutions, and basic credit principles, with the ability to explain complex information in clear, accessible language.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, including experience handling sensitive conversations and building rapport with clients in distress.
  • Ability to perform thorough financial assessments, interpret client data, and document cases accurately using CRM or case management systems.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards in the debt and financial services sector, and commitment to ethical, consumer-focused advice.
  • Proficiency with remote work tools (email, video conferencing, call systems) and strong organisational skills to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in debt advice, collections, financial counseling, or a related field is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant certification or training in financial services, counseling, or consumer credit is a plus.
  • Resilience and emotional maturity when dealing with challenging situations, alongside a solutions-focused and empathetic approach.
