Company Description

FAITHWORKS is a local independent Christian charity committed to supporting individuals who are facing crisis or isolation, walking alongside them until they are able to thrive. The organization focuses on practical solutions in key areas such as food, finance, housing, and social connections. FAITHWORKS collaborates closely with local councils, other charities, and especially churches to provide joined-up support. The charity’s aim is to empower people to reach a point where they can confidently say, “I can do this now,” reflecting its emphasis on long-term, person-centered change.

What is this all about?

Faithworks (FW) Community Money Advice (CMA) works with Poole and Bournemouth Foodbanks to support those who are experiencing debt problems and financial difficulties. We are part of the national CMA network and are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

We have received support from The National Lottery Community Fund to work in partnership with Bournemouth Foodbank to expand and strengthen our financial resilience work across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. We share a vision that everyone accessing our foodbanks should be offered support with their finances, including Money Guidance, Income Maximisation and Debt Advice.

As part of this programme, we are looking for 3 people: two to provide debt advice and oversee teams of CMA volunteers across Bournemouth Foodbank sites, and 1 to provide debt advice in Poole foodbank. Previous debt advice experience is not essential. Full training will be provided, which the successful candidate will be expected to complete within agreed timescales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
