Debt Advisory Manager
Help ambitious businesses secure the right funding to achieve their growth ambitions.
Our client is a leading independent Corporate Finance boutique with a national presence and an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality advice to entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, private equity investors, and corporate clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Debt Advisory Manager to join their expanding team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of funding transactions while building long-term relationships with lenders, private credit funds, and clients across the UK.
The Role
As a key member of the Debt Advisory team, you will:
- Lead debt raising assignments across a range of sectors and transaction sizes.
- Advise clients on acquisition finance, refinancing, growth capital, working capital, and debt restructuring solutions.
- Build detailed financial models and funding structures.
- Prepare high-quality funding papers, information memoranda, and lender presentations.
- Manage lender processes from initial approach through to completion.
- Support M&A transactions by delivering integrated financing solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, alternative lenders, debt funds, and other funding providers.
- Manage client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the Debt Advisory practice.
- Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships.

About You
You'll ideally have:
- 4+ years' experience within Debt Advisory, Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Corporate Finance, or Structured Finance.
- A strong understanding of debt markets and funding structures.
- Experience managing funding transactions from origination through to completion.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and relationship management abilities.
- A commercial mindset with the confidence to engage directly with clients and lenders.
- ACA, ACCA, or CFA qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
