Debt Advisory Partner, London
£150k to £180k base, potentially flexible for a proven originator, plus bonus/upside
Most Partner roles ask you to bring relationships. Fewer give you a platform where those relationships can actually turn into something meaningful.
This is a senior London Debt Advisory role for someone who wants to build, lead and shape the London proposition, not just inherit a seat.
They already have Debt Advisory capability in the business, but London has not been properly built yet. This hire is about changing that.
You would not be joining a fully built team with fixed lanes and limited room to shape things. You would be coming in early enough to help build the proposition, develop the market and become a senior face of Debt Advisory in London and the South.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
