Citizens Advice Cornwall Caseworker Opportunity
Citizens Advice Cornwall are looking for a new Caseworker to join our Debt Advice team. As part of this team, you will provide specialist advice and casework to a range of clients across our debt projects. This role will include engaging with clients who are potentially vulnerable and sometimes working alongside externally provided Support Workers.
If you are new to debt advice, or have limited experience in this area, then we will consider a ‘Trainee’ role, for the right candidate.

Requirements
- Highly motivated strong team player
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience in a busy environment
- Ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity
- Good numeracy skills sufficient to compile accurate financial statements and calculate benefits
- Effective oral and written communication skills for the purposes of negotiations and reporting
- Experience of giving debt advice across multi-channels including face to face, telephone and email
