Legal Debt Recovery Manager / Supervisor | Birmingham | £55,000–£68,000 + Bonus
I’m working with a leading multi-office law firm looking to appoint an experienced Debt Recovery Manager / Supervisor to join its Birmingham office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established national team, taking responsibility for managing and developing a team while handling a varied portfolio of commercial debt recovery matters.
This isn’t purely a case management role. You’ll also have the opportunity to become increasingly involved in business development, networking and strengthening existing client relationships, giving you genuine scope to develop your profile within the market.
The role will include:
- Managing and supporting a debt recovery team
- Handling matters from initial letters through to issuing proceedings and enforcement
- Managing a caseload of commercial debt recovery matters
- Assisting with insolvency matters, including Statutory Demands
- Building strong relationships with commercial clients and providing regular reporting
- Working alongside fee earners on contested and more complex matters
- Supporting the Head of Debt Recovery with client development and networking
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing relationships and generate additional work

We’re looking for someone with strong debt recovery experience, a good understanding of the litigation process and previous experience managing or supervising others.
You’ll need to be commercially minded, highly organised and confident dealing directly with clients, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

£55,000–£68,000 + Bonus
