Legal Debt Recovery Manager / Supervisor | Birmingham | £50,000–£58,000 + Bonus
I’m working with a leading multi-office law firm looking to appoint an experienced Debt Recovery Manager / Supervisor to join its established national team in Birmingham.
You will need experience working in a law firm for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for more than a traditional case management role.
Alongside managing and developing a team, you’ll handle a varied portfolio of commercial debt recovery matters, with genuine scope to become increasingly involved in business development, networking and key client relationships.
The role will include:
- Managing and developing a debt recovery team
- Handling commercial debt matters from initial instruction through to proceedings and enforcement
- Assisting with insolvency matters, including Statutory Demands
- Managing key commercial client relationships and reporting
- Working alongside fee earners on contested and complex matters
- Supporting the Head of Debt Recovery with business development and networking
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and generate new work

I’m looking to speak with experienced debt recovery professionals with a strong understanding of the litigation process and previous experience managing or supervising others.
You’ll need to be commercially minded, confident dealing directly with clients and keen to develop your profile within the market.
