Debt Recovery Solicitor / CILEX (NQ)

Location: Wigan or Liverpool

Job Type: Full-time | Hybrid working available

Salary: Up to £47,000 DOE

The Opportunity

A modern, fast-growing Legal 500 law firm is expanding its Debt Recovery and Litigation teams following continued client growth across finance, local authority, and housing sectors. With a new Liverpool city centre office recently opened and an established Wigan base, this is an excellent time to join a business in genuine growth mode.

This is not a traditional high-street litigation role. The firm operates as a commercially focused legal services business with a strong national client base and a high-volume but well-structured workflow environment.

You will join a busy and expanding sub-team handling a steady pipeline of debt recovery litigation work, with strong internal support and clear processes in place.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of debt recovery and civil litigation matters, working within a specialist team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
