Deburr Operator
Location: Woking
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 + Production Bonus + Private Medical + Pension + Holidays + Free Parking
Are you an experienced Deburr Operator or Precision Finishing Technician looking to work in a high-quality precision engineering environment, producing cosmetic and safety-critical components to exacting standards?
This is a hands-on role within a modern machine shop, working closely with Production and Quality teams to deliver high-value components within tight tolerances and strict quality requirements. You will be responsible for high-end cosmetic and functional finishing, ensuring components meet customer-critical specifications.
You will work as part of a skilled team but must be comfortable working independently, using your initiative and attention to detail to achieve consistently high standards. This role offers long-term stability, excellent facilities, and strong development opportunities within a growing precision engineering business.

The Role
- Hand deburring and precision finishing of CNC machined components
- Removal of burrs, sharp edges and machining marks to cosmetic and functional standards
- Use of hand and powered tools including files, stones, scrapers and grinders
- Preparation of components for anodising, coating, plating and assembly
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and job documentation
The Person
- Proven experience as a Deburr Operator or Precision Finishing Technician
- Background in high-end cosmetic and functional finishing
- Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or exotic alloys
- Ability to work to tight tolerances without affecting critical dimensions
- Strong attention to detail and quality-first mindset
