We’re looking for someone who loves getting underneath the numbers.
Someone who doesn’t just want to tell us what happened but wants to understand why it happened and what we should do next.

As our Decision Support Analyst, you’ll help turn data into useful insight that supports better commercial decisions across Alpkit. This is a great role for a graduate or early-career analyst who wants to learn the ropes of commercial analysis in a real, fast-moving business.

You’ll work with teams across Retail, E-commerce, Marketing, Factory and Finance, helping us understand sales, stock, customers and performance and making that information simple enough for people to use for commercial decision making.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll:

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that show us what’s really happening.
  • Analyse sales, stock, customer and trading trends.
  • Spot opportunities, risks and changes in performance.
  • Help teams understand the story behind the numbers.
  • Support commercial decisions with clear, useful analysis.
  • Answer questions from across the business with accurate data and insight.
  • Help improve data for forecasting, planning and performance reviews.
  • Keep reporting accurate, simple and easy to use.
  • Get to know Alpkit’s products, customers, channels and what drives our business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This isn’t a role where you’ll sit quietly producing spreadsheets that nobody reads. We want you to ask questions, be curious, challenge assumptions and help people make better decisions.

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in someone who has strong analytical foundations, commercial curiosity and the desire to learn and grow with the business.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good Excel skills, including formulas and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling using Generative and open source AI models.
  • An interest in data, customers and business performance.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • The confidence to ask questions and dig deeper.
  • The ability to explain numbers simply.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach.
  • A willingness to learn quickly and take on more responsibility over time.

Experience in retail, e-commerce or analytics would be useful, but mindset matters just as much.

What success looks like

You’ll help us make better decisions, faster.
Teams will trust the data and models you provide, understand performance more clearly and use your insight to decide where to focus next.
Over time, we’d expect you to become someone people come to not just for a number, but for an informed view on what that number means.
