Job description:

Role Overview:

Dedicated Logistics Specialist with the ultimate responsibility to provide dedicated high level customer service and operations support to understand key accounts needs and requirements in proposing solutions to meet deadlines that add value and build long lasting partnerships.

How you create impact:

  • Maintains and enhances customer services by ensuring procedures are followed
  • To take job orders from the customer, that include but not limited to routing, classifying of service type, establishing a deadline, offering upgraded services to meet deadlines and quoting.
  • To assist in providing clients with continuous notification and follow-up (which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolutions, etc).
  • Monitor all shipments as required and report any delays with Logistics options to reduce delay to the customer.
  • Control monthly performance, monitor volume, immediate actions in case of deviations (i.e. timeliness / accurate reporting)
  • Collaborate with Business Development to propose customer specific work instructions and implement continuous improvement measures that ensures the overall health of our relationship with the key account.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Customer Operating Procedures (COP) as required.
  • Work strategically with the key customer and ensure expectations are aligned.
  • Take a proactive approach and drive the process forward toward improved customer loyalty through improved customer experience.

What we would like you to bring:

  • Understanding of the Aviation industry and delivering Time Critical shipments using all available services.
  • Excellent knowledge of international and domestic airline routings, geography and time zones.
  • Extensive customer service experience required.
  • Demonstrate efficient risk assessment, problem analysis and problem resolution capabilities.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
