We're looking for a Deep Cleaning Operative
Who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.
- Hourly Rate of Pay: £14.80
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Type of Employment: Full Time
- Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 38.5
- Shift Pattern: 4 days on/4 days off; 18:00 to 06:00 (nights)
- Location: Heathrow Airport, Building 1156, Newall Road, Hounslow, Greater London, England TW6 2RZ
Responsibilities
In your new role as a Deep Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality deep and specialist cleaning services across designated areas, ensuring all work is completed to the required standards and within agreed SLAs.
- Carpet and upholstery cleaning
- Steam cleaning
- Machine scrubbing
- Jet washing
- Pressure washing
- Floor cleaning
- Washroom and kitchen deep cleans
- Other specialist cleaning activities as required
You will ensure all cleaning equipment and machinery is used correctly, kept clean, and maintained in safe working order. You will also develop your knowledge of the designated areas, cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals required to complete each task effectively.

You must follow all relevant Health and Safety procedures, RAMS, COSHH assessments, PPE requirements, and safe systems of work when carrying out your duties. You will be required to successfully complete all relevant training for the role and use equipment and chemicals safely. You will work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently and use your own initiative. You will be expected to maintain high cleaning standards, complete required records or checklists, report any issues, and identify opportunities to improve the service. You will build positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Requirements
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
- The ability to communicate and read basic English
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- A flexible approach to the role
- Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude
- Reliability and a hardworking professional attitude
