About BMNT Ltd.
BMNT Ltd is a respected strategic advisory firm operating across the UK defence, national security, and resilience sector. We practice across the UK and wider European defence and national security markets, helping organisations that include tech companies, defence industry players, government agencies, membership associations, and institutional investors navigate complex policy and operational environments and challenges.
About the Role
We are seeking a Defence Account Lead to own client delivery across BMNT’s defence portfolio. You will report to the Defence Director, holding end-to-end responsibility for client accounts. This is a senior, client-facing role. You will also work closely with the Chief of Staff, translating strategy into delivery and keeping execution on track across the client portfolio.
You will bring your own networks and credibility in the UK defence market, and love working directly with clients, making their market entry easier, faster, and more informed. This role combines programme and project leadership and direct engagement with UK Defence stakeholders. You will help shape, build, and deliver BMNT’s go-to-market propositions, be the first point of contact for clients, and be comfortable operating independently while working closely with a team. BMNT is a small and growing team, this role demands exceptional organisation while deeply understanding customer service. Travel into London is required, no less than three days a week, in addition to WFH options two days per week. There may be occasional international travel to support client events and partner engagement.
What You Will Do
Client Delivery and Account Management
- Own the day-to-day management of client accounts across the defence portfolio, serving as a senior point of contact and holding responsibility for delivery against client commitments.
- Manage and track multiple client workstreams at once, ensuring work is delivered on time and to each customer's specifications.
- Represent BMNT directly in client meetings, leading the agenda and converting outcomes into clear actions and next steps.
- Set the standard for client-facing deliverables as both first drafter and final owner, producing initial drafts and signing off accuracy, consistency, and quality before outputs reach the customer.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
