Defence Business Development & Sales Manager
A Business Development Manager with proven success in Defence, Space/Aerospace, Maritime or adjacent technology sales, who can bring technical credibility and a strong understanding of the latest UK Defence ecosystem will own and drive the full sales life-cycle within a thriving Consultancy, building trusted relationships across Defence SMEs, military commands, government stakeholders, and specialist technology partners.

The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

- Sales strategy and market development
- Opportunity creation and capture
- Proposal, negotiation, and closure of sales
- Delivery handover and account growth
Your skills and experience should include:
- A proven understanding of the UK Defence ecosystem including MOD, Defence primes, specialist SMEs, and collaborative bid environments.
- Success in Defence, Security, Space/Aerospace or similar technology sales with experience selling complex engineering, R&D, Consultancy, Services, or capability-led solutions.
- Ability to manage the complete sales cycle.
- Technical credibility ideally supported by an engineering, science, electronics, or related technology background.
- Strong presentation skills, a collaborative working style, and confidence to engage at multiple levels.
