Degree Apprenticeship Project Supervisor Team Leader (FTC 12 months)

Your Role:
The Degree Apprenticeship Project Supervisor Coordinator is responsible for leading, coordinating, and quality assuring project supervision across Degree Apprenticeship programmes. The role ensures a consistent, high-quality experience for apprentices and employers while driving successful project completion and apprenticeship outcomes.
The post holder provides operational leadership for the Project Supervisor team, supports employer engagement, manages project governance, and oversees the quality and effectiveness of project-based learning across apprenticeship provision.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and People Management
- Lead, manage, and support a team of Degree Apprenticeship Project Supervisors.
- Allocate caseloads and monitor team capacity.
- Conduct one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and development activities.
- Support induction, training, and professional development within the team.
Quality Assurance and Governance
- Develop and maintain project supervision standards, guidance, and processes.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of project supervision activities.
- Undertake audits of project records, reviews, and apprentice progress.
- Ensure compliance with apprenticeship, academic, and organisational requirements.
Performance Management
- Monitor project completion, apprentice progress, and achievement metrics.
- Analyse performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Produce reports and management information for senior leaders.
- Manage risks and interventions relating to project delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support learners and colleagues in understanding project expectations and requirements.
- Resolve escalated project-related issues and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with Delivery managers, operations, academic teams, and apprenticeship delivery colleagues.
Strategic Development
- Support the growth and development of Degree Apprenticeship programmes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives linked to project-based learning.
- Contribute to quality reviews, audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop resources, frameworks, and best practice guidance.

The Supervisor Co-ordinator will be measured against:
- Degree Apprentice project completion and achievement rates.
- EPA readiness and success rates.
- Employer satisfaction and retention.
- Team performance and productivity measures.
- Compliance and quality assurance outcomes.
- Project governance effectiveness.
- Continuous improvement implementation and impact.
Your Experience:
- Post grad qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant project management experience.
- Experience leading or managing teams.
- Experience in apprenticeships, higher education, or professional learning environments.
- Experience of quality assurance and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, analysis, and reporting skills.
Desirable
- Management qualification.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting Ofsted, QAA, or regulatory inspections.
- Relevant project management qualification.
