At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.
To deliver an exceptional delegate experience by coordinating learning and induction programmes, managing learner communications, attendance reporting, course administration, and Academy operations. The role ensures colleagues receive a seamless onboarding and induction journey from candidate acceptance to day-one learning experiences.
We're looking for a natural organiser with a genuine passion for people and a talent for making things run smoothly behind the scenes. If creating a great first impression for new colleagues excites you, we want to hear from you — even if you don't meet every requirement just yet.
Responsibilities:
- Own and coordinate the transition from onboarding to induction, ensuring all new colleagues are invited, enrolled and prepared to successfully attend their first learning experience, either virtually or at the Academy.
- Coordinate learner invitations, joining instructions and attendance reporting for all induction and learning programmes.
- Maintain accurate learner records and provide attendance and completion reporting to stakeholders.
- Liaise with HR Services to manage course schedules, capacity planning and learner allocation.
- Prepare learning materials, delegate resources and trainer documentation.
- Raise, track and reconcile induction-related purchase orders and expenditure.
- Monitor budgets and provide regular financial tracking updates.
- Manage meeting room bookings, visitor arrangements and parking requests.
- Ensure Academy facilities remain safe, compliant and presentation-ready through regular health and safety inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and supplier support activities.
- Support the Academy Manager with ad hoc projects and operational initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
