About Us

Recently rebranded to match the expansion plans for our portfolio, we bring together decision makers from the most energy-intensive and resource-critical sectors to tackle the innovation, financial, and technical challenges that matter right now.

We give industrial leaders the peer access, investment intelligence, and deal-room environments they need to de-risk plans, unlock capital, and build long-term competitive advantage. You'll be the person connecting them to it.

Industrial Connect Group (trading as Decarb Connect) works across three sectors: Industrials, Critical Minerals and Energy. Our members and delegates come from cement, steel, chemicals, energy, investment and others making the decisions on where capital and partnerships go next, not generic industry attendees. We run events including TechInvest, Industry Connect brands and also own the Decarbonisation Leaders Network. Our conferences, webinars, and content are used by senior industrial leaders across Europe, the US, and Canada.

We are a small but growing business with funding in place to grow our portfolio and team. We're entrepreneurial and prize our team communication and culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Role

You'll use Microsoft Teams, phone, email, and LinkedIn every day to book meetings and sell conference places and network membership to senior leaders across our target sectors. You'll build and work your own pipeline, handle objections, negotiate, and close, then get paid properly for every deal.

You earn 7% commission on everything you sell, paid monthly, uncapped. Close at least 3-5 delegate places a month once you're up to speed and you're looking at £32k-£35k in the first 12 months, base included.

We'll teach you the sector, the pitch, and how we work as a team. You need to bring the drive to get up and go after the target each morning. If you're the sort of person who really can set a target and get on with hitting it, you'll do well here.

You'll be reaching out to Directors and senior people at serious industrial companies and selling across time zones from the west coast of north America to eastern Europe – adapting to that as much as possible will drive results. If that excites you more than it worries you, this is the job for you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Pipeline & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to senior decision-makers across our target sectors, by phone, email, and LinkedIn. Qualify interest, book & lead virtual sales meetings.
  • Closing & Membership Development: Work new and existing accounts, understand what each company needs, and pitch the right conference place or membership package, access to high-value content, events, introductions, and networking.

You’ll have access to past clients and enquiry data – but you’ll also learn from booking patterns and research your own leads.

Using A* written and verbal communications, you'll be persuasive and professional in your conversations with clients.
