About MedTech World
Launched in 2020, MedTech World began with a mission to position Malta as a meeting point for the global MedTech and HealthTech ecosystem.
Today, we've grown into an international platform operating across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, bringing together founders, investors, healthcare systems, clinicians, corporates, policymakers and industry leaders.
Our global calendar spans flagship summits in Malta, Dubai, West Palm Beach and Hong Kong, alongside investor forums, executive gatherings, roadshows, workshops and curated networking experiences throughout the year.
As we continue to expand internationally, we're looking for an ambitious and highly organised Conference Producer to take ownership of the content and programming behind our global events. This isn't simply about filling an agenda.
The Role:
- Drive delegate sales revenue across MedTech World’s international events.
- Identify and secure high-quality attendees, including senior healthcare executives, founders, investors and industry leaders.
- Conduct high-volume outbound sales activity through telephone calls, email and LinkedIn.
- Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of new and existing prospects.
- Develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers across the MedTech and HealthTech ecosystem.
- Clearly communicate the value of attending MedTech World, including its networking, content, investment and business-development opportunities.
- Identify new companies, prospects and emerging sectors that could create additional sales opportunities.
- Upsell additional delegate passes and participation opportunities to sponsors, exhibitors and existing clients.
- Work closely with the Partnerships, Marketing, Production and Client Success teams to identify and engage the right audiences.
- Achieve weekly and monthly outreach, conversion and revenue targets.
- Stay informed about developments across MedTech, HealthTech, digital health and healthcare investment.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and sales reports.
- Attend MedTech World conferences, networking events and VIP experiences, with international travel required at certain points during the year.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, commercially focused and genuinely hungry to build a successful career in international events sales.
Ideally, you will have:
- At least one year of experience in events, conference, delegate, sponsorship, media or B2B sales.
- A proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Strong outbound sales experience, particularly over the telephone.
- Excellent communication, persuasion and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach to lead generation and prospecting.
- The ability to manage a high-volume sales pipeline and prioritise opportunities effectively.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to identify and close new opportunities.
- Experience working with CRM and sales-prospecting platforms.
- A resilient, competitive and target-driven mindset.
- Strong written and spoken English.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Experience within MedTech, HealthTech, healthcare, life sciences or investment is desirable but not essential.
The Person:
This role would suit someone who is ambitious, competitive and motivated by achieving measurable results. You should be confident picking up the phone, comfortable working at pace and excited about building relationships with senior figures across the global healthcare industry. We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership, follows up consistently and is always searching for the next opportunity. You should be comfortable working within an international and predominantly remote team, communicating proactively and maintaining high standards of organisation and accountability. In return, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing global platform, work across major international MedTech conferences and build a valuable network within one of the world’s most important and rapidly evolving industries.
What Success Looks Like?
Success in this role means consistently attracting the right people to MedTech World and converting strong prospects into confirmed, engaged attendees.
It means building and managing a healthy sales pipeline, exceeding delegate revenue targets and securing senior decision-makers who strengthen the quality of each event. You will understand what motivates different audiences—from founders and investors to hospital executives, clinicians and corporate leaders—and communicate the value of attending in a relevant and compelling way.
It means following up consistently, keeping CRM records accurate and maintaining momentum throughout the sales cycle. You will be confident handling objections, identifying upselling opportunities and adjusting your approach when a prospect is not responding or an opportunity changes.
Success also means developing relationships that extend beyond a single event. Rather than simply selling a ticket, you will help turn attendees into long-term members of the MedTech World community who return, recommend the platform and engage across multiple regions.
