Delegate Sales Executive
Location: Fulham, West London
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £33,000-£35,000 + £50,000+ OTE

The Role
We are looking for ambitious and commercially driven Delegate Sales Executives to join a growing events business, with opportunities available across Insurance Technology.
This is a B2B conference sales role focused on selling delegate passes to senior professionals and decision-makers attending high-profile international events. Delegate passes typically range from £500 to £4,000, alongside complimentary VIP passes for C-suite executives.
You will take ownership of your event's commercial target, working with a strong marketing function to convert inbound leads while also proactively developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell B2B conference delegate passes, typically valued between £500 and £4,000.
- Manage a mixture of inbound leads and outbound prospecting, with approximately 70% inbound / 30% outbound activity.
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers, including Marketing Officers and Heads of Marketing.
- Extend complimentary VIP passes to C-suite executives and build relationships with senior prospects.
- Conduct telephone, email and LinkedIn outreach to generate and convert opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and understand their business needs.
- Work towards individual and event revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline effectively.
- Work closely with marketing and other commercial teams to maximise event attendance.
- Earn commission across both delegate sales and VIP/C-suite pass activity.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Commercially driven, ambitious and target-focused.
- Motivated by earning potential and career progression.
- Confident speaking with senior business professionals.
- Comfortable with outbound sales and proactive prospecting.
- A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Resilient, competitive and motivated by achieving targets.
- Ideally experienced in B2B or events sales for 1+ year.
- From an events, experiences, conference, media or similar commercial sales background.
Sector-specific experience isn't essential. Attitude, commercial drive and personality are more important than having a long list of sector-specific requirements.

Progression & Package
- £33,000-£35,000 basic salary.
- £50,000+ OTE.
- Tiered commission structure, with higher commission percentages available as you progress through performance targets.
- Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Fulham office.
- Clear opportunities for internal progression.
The team is currently hiring following two internal promotions into Sponsorship and an internal move into another department, demonstrating the potential to progress into other commercial areas of the business.
Interview Process
The process consists of three stages:
- Initial interview via Teams.
- Second Teams interview including a role play.
- Final on-site interview focused on your interest in the company and role, alongside values and behaviours.
