Description
As a Delegate Sales Executive, you'll help bring together the people driving innovation across the food, nutrition, agriculture, materials and water sectors. Through proactive outreach and relationship building, you'll grow attendance across our international events portfolio and play a key role in our commercial success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and engaging prospective delegates through outbound calls, emails and follow-up activity
- Building relationships with past attendees, existing customers and new prospects to drive delegate attendance across our events portfolio
- Managing and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, ensuring customer information and activity are kept up to date within CRM systems
- Communicating the value of our conferences to stakeholders across the food, nutrition, agriculture, materials and water sectors
- Collaborating with marketing, business development, research and operations teams to support audience growth and event success
- Monitoring market activity, customer feedback and attendee trends to identify new opportunities and support delegate acquisition strategies
- Supporting the delivery of live events and representing the business professionally when engaging with customers and industry stakeholders

- A genuine interest in science, sustainability, innovation or emerging technologies
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build rapport and engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn about complex industries and market trends
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and the resilience to thrive in an outbound sales environment
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems, including CRM platforms
- An interest in building a career in sales, commercial development or customer engagement
