Job: Delegated Authority Client Technical Manager
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £65,000
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Delegated Authority Technician to join an established Lloyd's Broker based in London.
This is a technical role focused on the management, implementation, governance and performance of delegated authority arrangements with insurers, brokers and other key partners.
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise across the delegated authority life cycle, ensuring arrangements meet regulatory and internal requirements while supporting continuous improvement across the wider operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce Binding Authority contracts, Reinsurance contracts, endorsements and other documentation throughout the delegated authority life cycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams across areas including underwriting, compliance and claims.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers and insurers.
- Act as a key point of contact for delegated authority queries, issues and resolutions.
- Ensure Placement and Delegated Authority frameworks are adhered
- Assist Client Services and IBA teams with resolving issues relating to payments to and from the market and clients.
- Support the wider team with ad hoc technical requirements and projects.

About You
Looking for an experienced delegated authority professional with:
- 5+ years' experience working with delegated authority insurance and/or reinsurance agreements.
- Strong knowledge of delegated authority arrangements and their technical requirements.
- Experience of producing MRC Slips
- Experience with London Market Binding Authority and Lloyd's Coverholder application processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- The ability to work collaboratively across different teams and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
