Deli Assistant - Full-Time & Part-Time
SPAR Newcastle, Newcastle Service Station, Newcastle, Co. Dublin, is recruiting Deli Assistants (Full-Time and Part-Time) to join our fantastic team. These roles are ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene.
- Prepare, present, and serve fresh food products to company standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times
- Ensure stock is rotated, replenished, and displayed attractively within the deli area
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including food safety and health and safety requirements
- Assist with daily deli operations and support colleagues as required

Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good numerical and cash-handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures is desirable
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends
