Deli Assistant (Part-Time)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR Caherdavin on a part-time basis. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli section.
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide information on ingredients and pricing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and food preparation areas
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, rotating stock to ensure freshness
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to use initiative and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Reliable, self-motivated and responsible
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to follow company procedures and food safety requirements
- Flexible and able to work the shifts required for the role
