Deli Manager (Full-Time)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to join our team at SPAR Caherdavin on a full-time basis. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our deli operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service and food quality.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the deli and fresh food department
- Lead and support the deli team to provide excellent customer service
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety and HACCP procedures are followed at all times
- Manage stock, ordering, deliveries, rotation, and waste
- Organise daily tasks to ensure the department runs efficiently
- Support the training and development of deli team members
- Work closely with store management, follow company procedures, and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

- Previous deli/fresh food experience, ideally at supervisory or management level
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of food safety, food hygiene, and HACCP principles
- Experience in stock control, ordering, and waste management
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead, support, and motivate a team in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
