Corrib Oil Group is one of Ireland's fastest growing forecourt retailers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deli Manager based in our Tralee store. The successful candidate should have managerial experience, preferably in a forecourt environment. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression.

Principal Duties
- To work within the guidelines and parameters set by the Head of Fresh Food and the Area Fresh Food Advisors.
- Responsible for management of food court (including franchises within).
- Manage the daily operations in the kitchen (All food preparation to include, breakfast, lunch, evening meals, chilled products and any other food related requirements).
- Prepare food to the high standards expected of our Corrib Deli’s.
- Operate the Deli department in line with company & government food safety & HACCP legislation.
- To follow the company recipe manual & guidelines, ensuring the department meets projected sales and contribution targets.
- Serve food ensuring the provision of excellent customer service throughout the department.
- Ensure all labour, stock control, ordering and margins are documented and communicated in accordance with Corrib Deli procedures.
- Manage staff rotas, ensuring the Deli department has enough cover and is within budget constraints.
- Constant promotion of the Corrib Oil Customer Loyalty programme, ensuring offerings are well advertised, up to date.
- Manage and develop staff to the high level expected of Corrib Deli employees, through continual training in accordance with policies, procedures and company best practice.
- Awareness of mental & physical health of staff, encourage & motivate your team and to deal with all staff related issues in a professional & courteous manner.
- Aid and accompany Environmental Health Officers and other auditors during health inspections.
- Work in conjunction with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store as a whole

Corrib Deli’s are a 7 day per week operation, so flexibility is required in this position.
- Highly organised with attention to detail, excellent communicator, committed to great customer service.
- Two to three years management experience in a retail food environment would be an advantage.
- Professional qualifications relevant to position would also be beneficial.
- Good Word and Excel knowledge & ability.
