Are you passionate about Italian food and love sharing your knowledge with customers? Lina Stores Brewer Street is looking for a passionate Delicatessen Assistant to join our team.

About The Role
As a Delicatessen Assistant, you will help deliver an authentic Italian experience to every customer. You will:
- Serve customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Prepare and present deli food, including cheeses, cured meats, and antipasti.
- Make coffee and prepare food and drinks.
- Sell and recommend our range of Italian products.
- Maintain excellent product presentation and freshness.
- Support with stock, deliveries, cleaning, and the day-to-day running of the deli.
- Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a delicatessen, food retail, café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge and genuine passion for Italian food and products, including pasta, olive oil, wine, cheese, cured meats, and antipasti.
- Confident talking to customers and making product recommendations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Friendly, positive, and comfortable working in a busy environment.
- A team player with good attention to detail.
- Food preparation or coffee-making experience is desirable.
