Your Role
Moonsong Labs (MSL) is hiring a Senior Delivery Manager to own end-to-end delivery and client success for service engagements.
This role is accountable for delivery outcomes (scope, timeline, budget, and client confidence) and partners closely with Principal Engineers, who are responsible for technical architecture and execution.
The Delivery Manager is the accountable owner of the engagement - ensuring projects are well-run, risks are proactively managed and clients have high confidence in how their engagement is being delivered. They work in close partnership with a Principal Engineer, who owns technical direction.
This is a senior delivery leadership role, not a project coordination function.
What you'll do:
- Own the post-sale client relationship and serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery.
- Translate client goals and Statements of Work (SOWs) into clear delivery plans, milestones, priorities, and dependencies.
- Own scope, timeline, budget, and change control, ensuring delivery remains commercially healthy.
- Proactively identify risks, delays, and tradeoffs; surface them early and drive resolution.
- Drive execution against plan, coordinate team priorities, remove blockers, and maintain momentum.
- Partner with Principal Engineers on estimation, sequencing, feasibility, and technical constraints.
- Translate technical tradeoffs into clear client decisions around scope, priorities, timeline, and budget.
- Maintain visibility into project health, utilization, financial performance, and expansion opportunities.
- Own client-facing delivery documentation and help evolve MSL’s delivery practices, reporting, escalation, and handoffs.
- Manage deliverable acceptance and formal client sign-off against the SOW and agreed criteria.

What you'll bring:
- Highly literate in blockchain or AI systems to follow the tradeoffs and turn them into clear client decisions.
- Able to partner credibly with Principal Engineers on estimation, sequencing and feasibility, without owning the technical architecture yourself.
- Proven track record owning delivery for complex software or services engagements, end to end, ideally within fintech, banks or payment providers.
- Confident with senior client stakeholders including C-level and skilled at earning their trust.
- Experience turning SOWs and client goals into clear plans, milestones and dependencies.
- Strong command of scope, timeline, budget and change control, keeping engagements healthy and commercially sound.
- Able to spot risks early and drive them to resolution before they hit delivery.
- Comfortable coordinating engineering teams, removing blockers and keeping momentum.
- Experience shaping delivery practices such as reporting, escalation and handoffs.
- Commercial instinct - you track utilization, margins and financial health and you notice where an account can grow.
- A clear, precise communicator who makes complex work easy to grasp for technical and non-technical people.
