Delivery Assurance & Quality Manager | £800 Inside IR35 | 6 Months Rolling | London Hybrid 3 Days Per Week
A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a Delivery Assurance & Quality Manager to join a major transformation programme. You'll provide independent assurance across large-scale change initiatives, reviewing governance, delivery frameworks, programme artefacts and quality standards to identify risks, challenge delivery teams and drive best practice. This is a highly visible role focused on ensuring projects remain on track, risks are managed effectively and delivery is consistently executed to a high standard.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in Delivery Assurance, Programme Assurance, PMO Assurance or Quality Management within large-scale Financial Services transformation programmes.
- Proven experience implementing and operating assurance, governance and quality management frameworks, including quality gates, controls, KPIs and delivery standards.
- Experience providing independent challenge and assurance to delivery teams and senior stakeholders, influencing improvements to governance, methodologies and ways of working.
- Ability to hit the ground running by quickly reviewing programme artefacts, governance structures and delivery processes to identify gaps, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
- Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall and end-to-end programme delivery, with the ability to assess delivery quality, identify risks and drive process improvements across the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a positive, collaborative approach and the confidence to challenge constructively.
- Experience within Capital Markets, Clearing Houses, Market Infrastructure or other highly regulated environments would be highly desirable.
