Delivery Recruitment Consultant – Technical
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £32,000+ DOE + Commission
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are working with an established specialist recruitment business in Bournemouth that is looking to appoint an experienced Delivery Recruitment Consultant to join its growing team.
This is a delivery-led, 270 recruitment role, working with established clients and live requirements across specialist Technical and Engineering markets globally.
There is no requirement to generate new business through cold BD or build a desk from scratch. However, this is not a pure candidate sourcing position.
You will have regular contact with existing clients, take detailed job briefs, manage recruitment processes and develop relationships within established accounts.
The role will involve recruiting specialist and senior-level professionals, with a strong focus on headhunting and engaging passive candidates globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Headhunt and engage specialist and senior-level candidates globally
- Conduct market mapping and identify hard-to-find talent
- Manage candidates throughout the full recruitment process
- Build and maintain long-term candidate relationships
- Take detailed vacancy briefs from existing clients
- Manage live requirements across established accounts
- Provide clients with relevant market and candidate information
- Develop relationships within existing client accounts
- Work closely with colleagues to successfully deliver specialist assignments

Experience Required
Applicants must have a minimum of one year's recruitment experience within a Technical or Engineering-led market. Relevant sectors could include:
- Aerospace
- Defence
- Engineering
- Electronics
- Technology
- Manufacturing
- Other specialist Technical markets
You will also need:
- Proven headhunting and candidate sourcing experience
- Experience engaging passive and hard-to-find candidates
- The ability to understand detailed Technical briefs
- Strong candidate and client relationship skills
- Confidence communicating with senior-level professionals
- Commercial awareness and confidence developing existing client relationships
- A proactive approach and the ability to work with autonomy
This opportunity could suit an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant looking to move away from heavy new-business development, or an experienced Delivery Consultant looking for greater ownership, client interaction and the opportunity to work on senior-level assignments.
