Altum Consulting is looking to appoint a Delivery Consultant to join its growing Change & Transformation team.
Context
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career recruitment professional who enjoys the candidate-focused side of recruitment and wants to develop specialist expertise within a growing market. You will join one of Altum’s top-performing teams, working alongside some of the business’s most successful consultants, who have strong track records and established client relationships.
Working closely with consultants across both interim and permanent assignments, you will take ownership of the end-to-end candidate delivery process. You will work primarily with the Change & Transformation team during an exciting period of growth.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Taking job briefs and developing a clear understanding of each role’s requirements
- Conducting market mapping and candidate research
- Sourcing and engaging active and passive candidates
- Screening and qualifying candidates based on their experience, motivation, availability and salary or day-rate expectations
- Producing high-quality candidate shortlists
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation, feedback and offer management
- Building long-term candidate relationships and specialist networks
- Developing strong market knowledge across the Change & Transformation space
- Identifying leads and sharing relevant market intelligence with consultants
- Collaborating with consultants to prioritise searches and manage delivery across multiple assignments
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM
- Supporting job advertising, compliance and onboarding

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
