As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Engineering Delivery Consultant to join our team, supporting clients throughout the UK and Europe and playing a key role in delivering exceptional engineering talent across our client portfolio — with genuine scope to grow your career as you grow with us.
The role, your team, and Cubiq
As an Engineering Delivery Consultant, you'll focus on the candidate side of the recruitment process using advanced sourcing methods to find, engage, and manage exceptional engineering talent across R&D Engineering and Manufacturing. You'll work closely with a variety of engineering clients, supporting active hiring projects while building long-term candidate and client relationships across niche, highly technical markets.
You'll ideally have experience supporting Research and Development with engineering hiring — someone who's comfortable in conversations about R&D, product development and manufacturing environments, and who enjoys working with people in a fast-moving environment, and cares about doing recruitment properly.
What you'll do:
- Manage live vacancies and support ongoing project delivery across R&D Engineering and Manufacturing roles
- Source, screen and qualify engineering candidates using multiple channels
- Build strong relationships with specialist engineering talent pools and share insights with the wider business
- Coordinate interviews, feedback and offer management
- Provide an excellent candidate experience from first contact through to placement
- Work closely with clients, confidently leading client calls for briefings, CV reviews and more
- Work collaboratively with the wider recruitment team to ensure successful outcomes and support account development and maximisation
- Act as an engineering sourcing expert and champion to the wider business
- Identify areas for client expansion, client development and account maximisation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
