If you love the delivery side of recruitment but want more ownership, client exposure, and influence, this opportunity offers something genuinely different.

You will not be working from second-hand briefs or sitting several layers away from the client. You will join briefing calls, shape the search strategy, present your shortlists, and remain involved through interviews, negotiation, and placement.

There is no business development target, but you will have direct access to clients. It is an ideal middle ground for someone who wants more than a traditional delivery role without moving into cold sales. This is a strong opportunity for someone who really enjoys client engagement and identifying growth through building and developing relationships with existing clients.

About the Company

Our client is an established, privately owned executive search and recruitment business specializing in the animal and agricultural industries. The company works across the UK and international markets, partnering with specialist SMEs and major global organizations on exclusive, retained, and contained assignments.

This is a close-knit business entering an exciting period of growth. Delivery is respected as a commercially valuable specialism, and strong performers are given the autonomy and trust to make a genuine impact.

You will also work in markets with real purpose—supporting organizations improving animal health, advancing agricultural technology, and helping shape the future of food production and animal welfare.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who They’re Looking For

You will already have agency recruitment delivery or executive search experience and genuinely enjoy identifying and engaging passive talent.

You will be confident speaking with clients and senior candidates, comfortable owning multiple searches, and capable of performing autonomously in a remote environment.

Previous experience within animal health or agriculture would be beneficial but is not essential. What matters more is your recruitment expertise, curiosity, and genuine interest in developing within these specialist markets.

This is not a high-ego or heavily micromanaged environment. It will suit someone accountable, collaborative, and motivated to contribute to the wider success of the business.

Work Model & Benefits

This is a fully remote UK role with occasional travel for onboarding, team meetings, client visits, and industry events.

The package includes uncapped quarterly commission from the first placement, an annual performance bonus, generous annual leave with additional days available for achieving targets, a wellness allowance, pension, and a complete home-working setup.

If you want to remain focused on delivery while gaining more ownership, more client influence, and more opportunity to progress, this is a move worth exploring.
