Delivery & Operations Coordinator
Leeds | Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office | £42,000 + benefits | 9-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) | Immediate start
WRK digital is partnered with a Leeds-based consultancy to appoint a Delivery & Operations Coordinator on a nine-month fixed-term contract.
You would sit at the centre of how the business delivers its work. That means keeping resourcing and project information accurate, watching capacity against upcoming demand, coordinating smaller projects, and taking care of the operational detail behind delivery.
The role works closely with the Head of Operations and the delivery team and is predominantly internally focused. You would be trusted to work out what needs doing and get on with it, not handed a task list.
What you'll be doing
- Keeping the resourcing and project schedule accurate and up to date in the company's capacity planning tool
- Tracking who is available, who is booked where, and what work is coming up
- Comparing upcoming project needs with team capacity, and raising gaps, clashes or spare capacity early
- Questioning bookings or assumptions that don't look right, and resolving them with Delivery Managers and team leads
- Giving the Head of Operations a clear view of current and future resourcing
- Helping with Statements of Work, including coordination, administration and first-pass reviews
- Running smaller projects that don't need a dedicated Delivery Manager, and supporting Delivery Managers on larger ones
- Tracking actions, timelines, risks and dependencies, and making sure they are followed through
- Picking up operational tasks from the Head of Operations and seeing them through independently
- Supporting recruitment and contractor onboarding, including interview coordination and administration
- Spotting manual or inefficient ways of working and putting better ones in place

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
