We are looking for a Delivery Coordinator.

Location: Telford

Salary: £26k - £30k

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday

Work pattern: Office Based, Telford

About The Role

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the successful provisioning and delivery of customer services, ensuring orders are progressed efficiently from receipt through to completion. The Delivery Coordinator will act as a central point of coordination between customers, suppliers and internal teams, helping to deliver a seamless customer experience while meeting service delivery targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of customer orders, ensuring milestones, deadlines and service commitments are achieved.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the delivery lifecycle, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Service Delivery, Technical Support and Operations to ensure smooth and timely service implementation.
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers and carriers to progress orders, resolve issues and minimise delays.
  • Monitor and manage order queues, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems and ensure all customer and order information is kept up to date.
  • Support the achievement of departmental KPIs and SLAs relating to order completion, lead times and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve order-related queries, ensuring a high standard of customer communication throughout.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Produce reports and updates on order status, delivery performance and outstanding actions as required.

About You

Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a coordination, customer service, administration or service delivery role.
  • Experience managing multiple activities simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of order management, service delivery or provisioning processes.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution
  • Strong administrative and system management skills.
  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team environment.

It would be great if you have any of the following, but it's not essential:

  • Experience working within telecommunications, connectivity, technology or managed services environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM, order management or service management systems.
  • Experience coordinating customer onboarding or service provisioning activities.
  • Knowledge of service delivery KPIs and SLA management.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Relevant business, customer service or administration qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK.
