OVERVIEW
We're looking for a strategic, people-first Delivery Director to lead and evolve our Technology Delivery function.
Reporting directly to the CTO and sitting as part of the Tech Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing the delivery strategy that enables Gymshark's continued growth. You'll lead a team spanning Project Delivery, Agile Delivery and Business Analysis, partnering with senior leaders across the business to ensure we're delivering the right work, in the right way, at the right time.
This is a role for someone who thrives on creating clarity in complex environments, building high-performing teams, and driving measurable business outcomes through exceptional delivery practices. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, balancing people, process, budget, technology and stakeholder priorities to keep Gymshark moving forward.
This position is a 15-month FTC.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leading the Delivery function within Technology and acting as a key member of the Tech Leadership Team.
- Creating and executing a long-term delivery strategy aligned to both Technology and wider business objectives.
- Leading and developing a team across Project Delivery, Agile Delivery and Business Analysis functions.
- Building a high-performing, inclusive culture where individuals and teams can thrive.
- Shaping resource strategies that ensure the right skills and capabilities are in place to support business growth.
- Driving visibility of delivery performance through meaningful KPIs, flow metrics, risk management and governance.
- Partnering with Directors and senior stakeholders to align priorities, roadmaps and delivery outcomes across the business.
- Owning and continuously improving delivery processes, frameworks and documentation.
- Managing internal, offshore and third-party delivery capabilities to ensure scalability and effectiveness.
- Contributing to the management of a multi-million-pound technology budget and making commercially focused decisions.
- Championing the adoption of AI-enabled delivery tooling and automation to improve forecasting, reporting and risk management.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience developing and implementing technology delivery strategies within a complex environment.
- Significant leadership experience managing large, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and making business-critical investment decisions.
- A people-first leadership approach with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams.
- Experience managing internal, offshore and outsourced delivery resources.
- Strong understanding of delivery performance metrics, governance and continuous improvement practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility, influence and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation or modern delivery tooling to improve reporting, forecasting and delivery outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to operate effectively in senior leadership forums.
- Ability to challenge constructively, drive change and bring fresh thinking to complex business problems.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience leading large-scale organisational or technology transformation programmes.
- Experience embedding value-stream, flow or lean delivery metrics within delivery organisations.
- A passion for innovation and modern delivery practices.
- Experience operating within fast-paced, high-growth businesses.

Please note this is a hybrid role and requires the successful candidate to attend at least 4 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
