Delivery Director – Head of Growth and Sales
Help shape the next stage of growth of an ambitious business transformation and change consultancy.
Partners in Change (PiC) is an established and growing consultancy that helps organisations deliver complex business transformation and change, often technology-enabled. Our clients value us for our pragmatic advice, collaborative style, highly experienced consultants, and overall ability to make change happen for them.
We're now looking for an exceptional consulting leader to help shape the next stage of our growth. This is not a traditional sales role.
We're looking for someone who combines strong consulting credibility with the ability to build trusted client relationships, develop compelling propositions and originate new opportunities. You'll be equally comfortable advising senior executives on complex transformation challenges, leading client engagements, and helping to grow and manage our business.
You'll play a central role in leading and developing our sales capability, owning and evolving one or more strategic service propositions, representing PiC in the market, and helping to shape the future direction of the business.
We’re looking for someone with the capability and contacts to help drive growth, the behavioural smarts to fit in whilst bringing something else to our potent culture, and who will relish the opportunity and freedom that comes with working with a small, dynamic, ambitious business.
About the role
As a member of PiC's leadership team, you will:
- Lead and coordinate our business development and sales capability with the overarching objective of ensuring we meet our annual sales and profit plan.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and convert opportunities into successful engagements.
- Own and develop one or more strategic consulting propositions, ensuring they remain relevant, differentiated and commercially successful.
- Oversee complex transformation assignments, particularly where senior consulting experience is critical.
- Work with colleagues to strengthen our methods, intellectual property, marketing and delivery capability.
- Help shape the future growth and direction of PiC.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You are unlikely to be selected if: you do not have a strong record selling consultancy services in the business change space; you have little experience leading and delivering complex change; you are looking for a role that is not predominantly about sales and selling; you are not living in the UK and with right to work in the UK.
