OLR UK has a long-standing presence in the United Kingdom and plays a central role in OLR’s global operations. The UK organization serves as a key hub for leadership, strategy, and client engagement, supporting retail clients across the UK, Europe, and internationally.
Our UK office is located at Runway East, Borough High Street, offering a dynamic and collaborative workspace designed to enhance productivity and teamwork. The London office is home to our CEO and acts as a central point of coordination for OLR’s global business.
Working in close collaboration with delivery teams across Europe, India, North America, and Latin America, the UK team supports Oracle Retail implementations, client relationships, and global transformation initiatives for leading retailers worldwide.
The Role
The Delivery Director is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple Omni software implementations across Europe. The role combines delivery leadership, client management, people leadership, financial oversight, and business development.
The Delivery Director will work closely with clients, project teams, and OLR leadership to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
In this role, you’ll:
- Oversee the delivery of multiple Omni projects across the European region.
- Provide leadership and governance to Project Managers and delivery teams.
- Manage senior client relationships and ensure a strong overall client experience.
- Act as a senior escalation point for project risks, issues, and client concerns.
- Oversee project planning, scope, resources, timelines, budgets, forecasting, and quality.
- Provide executive-level project reporting and participate in client steering committees.
- Advise clients on implementation approach, project phasing, risks, and delivery strategy.
- Ensure effective transition from project delivery to ongoing support.
- Lead and develop the European Omni project team, including Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Business Consultants, and QA teams.
- Support account management and identify opportunities for additional services within existing clients.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, client presentations, proposals, seminars, and industry events.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of OLR's delivery methods and processes.

Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software delivery, implementation, or professional services.
- Strong experience within the retail industry or retail technology sector.
- Experience delivering Omni solutions in complex retail environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and leading project teams.
- Strong project management, governance, risk, and financial management skills.
- Experience working directly with senior client and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing delivery teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large retail organizations and complex retail technology environments.
- Experience with Oracle Retail POS, Jumpmind, or Kibo is preferred.
- Experience in pre-sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience developing proposals and delivery plans for large software projects.
- Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and organizational skills.
- Experience driving process improvement across delivery teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
