A Driver at Verve is responsible for timely and courteous delivery and collection of equipment, ensuring vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, and assisting with kit room duties, all while representing the company professionally and adhering to legal driving standards.

Responsibilities include:
- Delivery and collection of equipment for jobs to specific time constraints.
- Punctuality is core to the role and arriving early to any directives is a must.
- Always keep Warehouse Manager of activities throughout the course of your drive.
- Arrive 10 – 15 minutes early to every delivery / collection. Especially early morning ones.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles at Verve kit room, clients’ addresses, and locations.
- Consider that your role is client facing so you must always be polite & helpful.
- Go the extra mile to accommodate clients' requirements.
- Always drive legally and courteously.
- You and your van represent Verve, and you will never know who is watching.
- You are responsible for your own traffic violations, penalties & parking fines.
- If you are concerned you will incur a fine at a particular address, consult with your manager before risking a penalty.
- General maintenance and cleaning of all vehicles, flagging any issues, and reporting damage.
- Additional duties are to assist kit room staff as directed with general duties.
- These include tidying, cable management, battery charging, equipment cleaning.
- Gain an understanding of what you are delivering/collecting and learn to recognize equipment to avoid potential mistakes.
- Learn how to safely load a van and understand potential security issues while you are away from Verve’s premises.
