Gear4music is looking for a reliable and hands-on Delivery & Installation Specialist to join our new in-house delivery team.
About The Role
This role combines driving, delivery, and installation. You’ll be responsible for delivering musical instruments to customers nationwide, as well as helping set them up in their homes and ensuring everything is ready to play.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, has good DIY skills, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install large musical instruments across the UK
- Assist with setup and positioning of equipment in customer homes
- Provide a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer experience
- Safely load, transport, and unload goods with care
- Work collaboratively with the wider delivery and customer service teams
- Accurately complete delivery documentation
About You
- Full UK driving licence (up to 7.5T with C1 entitlement preferred)
- Willingness to train and upgrade to a 7.5T licence if not already held
- Practical, hands-on skills (DIY or installation experience desirable)
- Tachograph experience beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable driving long distances
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused

Additional Requirements
- Comfortable operating a range of electric vehicles and 7.5T panel van (tachograph required)
- Longer working days may be required depending on location (e.g. long-distance deliveries such as Cornwall)
- Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on delivery routes
- Flexibility around working hours to accommodate longer/shorter days as required
- Availability during peak trading (mid-November to mid-January)
Hours: Up to 48 hours per week (typically Monday- Friday, 9.00am-6.00pm, with flexibility around shorter and longer days as required)
