Delivery Driver

Kate's Kitchen Catering Ltd – Bristol

Pay: £14.00 per hour
Start Date: Mid-August 2026

Hours:
Monday to Friday, approximately 9.30am – 3.30pm (finish times may vary depending on deliveries).
Minimum: 25 hours per week

About Us

Kate's Kitchen is an environmentally committed Bristol catering company, providing delicious, fresh food for corporate events, weddings and private functions across the city. We pride ourselves on sensational customer service, local and seasonal food and being a supportive, friendly place to work.

We're looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a varied role that combines delivering food to our corporate customers with helping ensure our delivery operation runs smoothly behind the scenes. Every day is different, and you'll play an important part in making sure our clients receive exceptional service.

The Role

You'll mainly be delivering freshly prepared lunches to businesses across Bristol, with occasional breakfast and afternoon catering deliveries. You'll be the friendly face of Kate's Kitchen, ensuring every delivery arrives on time and in perfect condition.

Alongside deliveries, you'll help keep our vehicles and delivery stock organised, making sure everything is ready for the next day's events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver freshly prepared food to corporate clients and event venues across Bristol.
  • Check deliveries with the kitchen team before leaving each morning.
  • Carry out daily food temperature checks before departure.
  • Ensure all food is transported safely and arrives in excellent condition.
  • Provide a professional, friendly and helpful service to every customer.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes and manage your time effectively.
  • Complete regular vehicle checks and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
  • Monitor drinks stock and inform the office team when replenishment is needed.
  • Check and reorder delivery consumables, including disposable plates, napkins and cutlery.
  • Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient delivery area.

  • Has good knowledge of Bristol and the surrounding area.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Confident driving a small delivery van.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry catering equipment and food boxes safely.

Preferred:

  • At least one year's delivery driving experience.
  • Five years' driving experience.
